Named Host V.S. Concurrent User


Named Host (Also called “Named Organizer”)

Adobe Connect Meeting Named Host. Each individual Named Host can host a meeting with up to 100 total attendees on the Adobe Hosted platform. Named Hosts can create an unlimited number of meeting rooms. However, the Named Host can only use one of their rooms at any one time, and rooms cannot be accessed unless the Named Host is present. Named Hosts must be individuals, not groups or generic logins, and a Named Host license cannot be shared.

  • Customers pay for personal meeting rooms for each meeting host. Each meeting room can hold up to 100 people including the meeting host. If an organization buys ten named hosts, they could hold up to ten separate and concurrent meetings. There can be 100 people in each room for a total of 1,000 participants. A licensed named host must be present in the room for users to take the Host or Presenter roles in the meeting.

Limited number of license holders who can create and run meetings, but each room has guaranteed 100-person capacity.

Concurrent User

Adobe Connect Meeting Concurrent User.  The license holder can create an unlimited number of meeting rooms. The seats for attendees (Hosts, Presenters, Participants, guests) are shared with the other licenses and cannot be reserved.

  • Customers pay for the total number of people in all meetings at the same time and can assign licenses to host and create meetings to an unlimited number of users.  Capacity is limited to the total number of seats purchased and Concurrent Users Per Meeting limit.

    Unlimited number of license holders who can create and run meetings, but seats (number of users in the room) are shared and cannot be reserved.
