Named V.S. Shared Webinar Manager


Named Webinar Manager License

  • Customer may create an unlimited number of Seminar rooms from the Seminars tab; however, each Named Webinar Manager can only use one Seminar room at any one time, and Seminar rooms may not be accessed by Seminar Attendees unless a Named Webinar Manager is present.  A Named Webinar Manager, and must be an individual. A Named Webinar Manager license cannot be shared between more than one individual.  A Named Webinar Manager license may be reassigned from one individual to another only if the employment or independent contractor relationship of a licensed individual terminates, otherwise written permission from Adobe is required.

Named Webinar Managers can run and create webinars (created and access under the Seminars area, then My Seminars).    While each room has a participant list, where roles (including host) can be defined, the license is required to run the webinar (if user is specified as a host on the participant list as a host, but does not have a license, they will only have participant rights until a license holder arrives).  Named Webinar Managers only have access to their own personal folder where their webinars are stored/created (My Seminars, which is located in the Seminars area).  They do not have access to content, nor do they have a personal content folder.  They have the same rights/access to the Events module as an Event Manager (but do not have content access/rights like Event Managers) {Link to event manager description}


Rooms require a session else will be in standby with a capacity of 10 total users.{Link to seminar session description}

 

Shared Webinar Room License

  • Customer may create an unlimited number of Shared Webinar Rooms from the Seminars tab and an unlimited number of Seminar Hosts may administer such Shared Webinar Rooms, but only one Seminar can take place at any given time for each Shared Webinar Room license purchased.  A Seminar Host must be present in the room for the room to be accessed.
